Golden Wings

Burning heart inside the snow

falling on beats made it slow

unable to saw in colorless wind

as far as eye could see,

mysterious sound crashed into the ice

forcefully grabbed the heart inside

plucked, freeze the golden wings

which withered the feelings of

head over heels,

In stone-cold winter's night

it started to shine in dim light

always look on the bright side

it said, woke-up and still ALIVE,

rolling thunder-storms in heart

which threw the soul in the dark,

but still had a smiling face

enjoyed cyclones after the rain,

snowfall replaced by flowers rings

and it stood again on its feet

it walked,touched the lukewarm grass

looking at the world through rosy-glasses.

Why Can't You See

I inscribed my words on paper which

comes out with changing whether,

so difficult to hear this silence

when you know,i love your presence,

sad, deserted nights without your voice

shrinking moon in heartbeat's noise,

rude words that made me feel like bolt

heart injured in middle of the road,

difficult to know that feeling inside

when you ignored and make me cried,

that hatred chase me without any guilt

what make me feel lonely and wilt,

painful to see that rough stuff when

you pointed me as bubble shy of plumb,

usually fighting on silly words

in the hope of getting your love,

unable to control that fear of loosing

Where are those cute PUPPETS?

 Kathputli is a string puppet theatre, native to Rajasthan, India, and is the most popular form of Indian puppetry.It is controlled by a single string that passes from the top of the puppet over the puppeteers. Besides entertainment puppetry presents meaningful messages and an art form.

Puppets Of Rajasthan

Puppetry is an ancient, popular form of folk entertainment.
The tradition of handmade string puppets of Rajasthan is more
than a thousand years old.These string puppets in rajasthan is
called kathputlis. Every social gathering and village fair or
religious festival would be incomplete without them.These beautiful
and colorful puppets are hand made using wood and cloth. The head
the puppets are made of wood and colored according to characters
they depict in the shows.

Making A PUPPET

The typical Rajasthani puppet has a brightly painted face and a rough torso. Appropriate brightly colored maleor female costumes are fashioned by the puppeters themselves from patches of old cloths.The string puppets of Rajasthan are unique in their style and technique. These are hand crafted with wood and cloth. Wooden faces of these puppets are colored according to the characters they play in a particular act. Generally they are painted in yellow color with their hands are stuffed with rags, cotton and cloth pieces. 

Without any joints in hands and without any leg, these puppets dance to the tunes of puppeteers. Their absence of legs is not felt as they don beautiful Rajasthani outfits.

How To Control Puppets

A dark color curtain is used as the back-stage and a colorful curtain with three arches hangs at the front. The puppets are tied with dark strings, which do not show against the dark background, and dim lights are used. One of the popular characters is the dancer Anarkali who is hung by four strings. Her limbs are sewn in such a manner that with the slightest jerk several dance-movements can be produced. A Snake charmer is another attraction of the show.
During performances, the puppeteers manipulate the puppets with a whistling, squeaking voice and are interpreted by a narrator who also provides the rhythms. The puppeteer takes a ghungroo (string of bells) in his hands and plays it according to the rhythm. He makes a loop around his fingers and manipulates the puppet. Free movement is possible due to the absence of legs. A little jerk of the string causes the puppets to produce movements of the hands, neck and shoulder. Many puppets hang on one rope: one string tied to the head and other to the waist. Movement plays a very important part in this puppetry. The puppets are shown to have great speed and vibrancy. They are shoved towards each other with brandishing swords. Greetings and salutations are done by bending the puppets and leaving their arms to hang loosely.

Today, most of the Rajasthan puppet theaters have lost their charm, due to the influence of cinema, television and video. But still puppetry is famous amongst children's, educators and communicators. In the olden day time these puppets were not only a source of entertainment but also provided moral and social education.Even the Rajasthan Government, today realizes the importance of saving this ancient art of folklore and keeping all the beneficial facts, the government took initiatives to open many puppetry theaters and regularly organise puppet shows in the countryside of Rajasthan.

That was the time when everything was PURE

I am here discussing the past life of Indian villages which is now just in memory and i miss it a lot in this fast life of cities. In-spite having no facilities and knowledge as much as we are getting now-a-days, but the standard of living of villages life was in most purest form which was close to the nature.

Pureness has Lost

That was the time when everything was so pure and peaceful, i am talking about of Indian village living. Although village life is still exists but it is not the pure form of villages. From my mother and grandmother whatever i heard about our culture and village's life and whatever i felt in my childhood, i can say pureness has lost somewhere with the development of cities and due to migration from villages to cities. Now villages can be seen in under the effects of cities. I was nice to hear from my mother that in her time, how they used to cook their food with the help of earthen burners, and how they burn it with dry woods. That was the time when all the vegetables was in the pure form, no use of chemicals on their harvest and that is why its taste was delicious inspite having simple food.

Old techniques for making sauce or salsa

This image shown is of a type of a tool to make sauce or salsa which was used in villages. In modern times all of us used electric items to make any kind of dishes or starter and of course it saves a lot of time. But the real taste does not exists in machines. When i was child my mother used to make 'salsa' from this which is called in our language " sil-batta", it is made of stone and it is used by hand to grind the ingredients. Believe it or not but, electric machines makes our work easier but not delicious. I sometimes says to my mom to buy it because i really miss its taste, and i have bored from all the electric items, obviously not my personal computer, unless with its taste you will surely miss my articles.

Churning Curd In Village Style

Did you ever feel the experience of churning curd in village style? I am sure you didn't.
In Indian villages butter was made by churning curd with a wooden ladle shaped in a particular way. The head of the ladle is like a flower with five petals.
The curd is kept in a pot and the ladle is inserted in the pot and ropes are twined through the ladle and a person, normally the lady of the house pulls the ladle to and fro till the curd is churned thoroughly.
The butter will slowly start to appear and the ladle must be vigourously moved to unite the spread out butter and then water must be sprinkled and the hand must be used to gather the butter and taken out. This butter should be kept in a vessel filled with a glass of water to keep the butter from turning bad.

Indian Villages Lifestyle

Although Village's life was very slow and with lack of facilities but the standard of living was pure and healthy at that time. Green fields all around with clean and fresh air could be seen. Did you ever looked towards the sky in village? It was filled of tiny stars but impossible to see in today's polluted city life. That feelings is different,when you stares at sky which has thousands of shining stars and you sleeps in cool natural breeze, not in any artificial air of fan. In calm ambience, you take sound sleep and you wakes up early in the morning with sweet melodious voice of sparrows and peacocks. Your breakfast starts with milk or pure home-made curd and it ends on simple but delicious lunch and dinner. I think village life was healthier and little tough in comparison of cities but there was a satisfaction. The standard of living was such, that you did not need any exercise to keep yourself fit. In previous time, people lived long life till hundreds years because of their pure and healthy lifestyle. The uses of electric machines was not so popular at that time. They used to do lot of hard works even after that they used to saved some time for their hobbies and entertainment. Food and other vegetables were free from any impurity. Oh, i really miss it a lot and i can feel that pureness.

Confusion At The Last

I usually start my day
thinking about my plans
usually i opens eyes in sweet morning
by an unexpected dream
as usual, i feed pigeons
and look towards the sky
as usual, nothing seems changed
same whether, same plants
same flowers on my house's roof
everyday, i want to express my uneasiness
but as usual
again i do not have words for explain
every hour i sit and think

but result says zero in the end

Teary-Eyed, Full Of Grief

The reflection of gloom could seen in black eyes
kohillin had washed from lonely eyes in form of tears
tears fell down on lips slowly
it's so long when eyes let them enter inside
I picked up a tear drop and preserved it in heart
pain of heart which was in deep shadow
suddenly came out with silent noise
every word was written, covered in tears
it was impossible to hide that fear
I hate tears and do not want to cry
but for me it was uncontrollable
everything slipped from the fists
and seized the smile from the lips
it touched the lips and made them cry
the garden of heart was broken inside
which was made a bit by bit

Soul On Fire

A flake came out in form of fire
i gathered the pearls of joy to hide
and it was incinerate in front of my eyes
lamp of joy was blew out inside
and dusty tears spurted out
darkness was present in the eyes
and darker cloud of despair was high on sky
the flowers of heart withered due to heat
flower garden of heart was burning in the flame
pain of a wounded heart
came out in a painful sigh
and it burnt pieces of heart
A little lamp of my dreams
was watching this tragedy night
it was trying to hide itself
i could see it from the corner of eyes

Still With Me


She remains behind me on sun-set
and chase me on sunrise
with my sadness and despair
she goes darker and darker
always sticks to me in narrow streets
where i feel like a helpless
who is in every alley and every row
it is none other than my shadow
walks with me like a slave
without any expression and name
in nights it gets disappear
but not always, very rare
" i don't like this hide and seek
stop to playing silly games with me"

In Indian culture and traditions, arranged marriage prefer then love marriage, but now things are changing.But sometimes questions arise due to the un-successful love marriages that which one is better, Love marriage or Arranged marriages ? There is need to understand such conditions as without mutual understanding and affectionate for each other, marriage can not be successful, no matter it is arranged or love.

Arranged Marriage

Mostly, in indian culture arrange marriages happens as parents do not prefer love marriages due to the caste and other thousands reasons.Its not always that arranged marriage are successful or love marriage are successful. In arranged marriage if any kind of problem arise in between couples, parents do support the relationship and they try their best to keep the relationship. Arranged marriage are good in aspect of their life styles and culture because boy and girl are of same caste and religion, it does not take long time for girl to adjust in the family.On the other hand, parents are more careful and supportive for the girl who married according to their wish.But arranged marriage also has some disadvantages which is necessary to discuss here. All of a sudden,both boy and girl start to share their life with one another who are strange and hardly spend any time together. 12 Days Of Fasting

Anna on fasting

Anna Hazare, is a social activist and he has served as a soldier for 15 years in Indian army, now at the age of 74 was on fast since 16 august 2011 against the corruption. Anna and his team members wanted to pass Jan Lokpal Bill from which ' 65 percent corruption can be remove from India if government pass this bill ' in Anna's words. I support his because Jan Lokpal Bill if implemented will give teeth to fight corruption effectively. It will acts as an effective deterrent against corruption. Investigation of any corruption case will be initiated and completed within one year and those guilty will be punished within two years. Lokpal will even have the power to persecute corrupt politicians. There will be no interference from politicians and bureaucrats as it will be an independent body like Supreme Court and Election Commission. Therefore, the bill if enacted will act as the most potent weapon in the war against corruption.
During his fast all were praying for his health including me..Anna was feeling weakness but he was not ready to break his fast when doctors told him for a drip and there was no reply from government on Jan Lokpal bill issue. They were just requesting to break his fast but at the last they had to pass Jan Lokpal bill to the standing committee.

Anna Hazare ended his 12 days fast on 28 august morning before thousands of cheering supporters at Ramleela Maidan.

21 August Protest At India Gate

Protest At India-gate

I had decided not to celebrate my birthday which was on 27 August because he was my idol and i was worrying for his health. I participated in Anna's movement and joined a march from India gate to Ramlila Maidan with thousands supporters. It was a great feeling that i got a chance to contribute in this second big movement of India. All the roads towards India Gate and Ramlila Maidan were filled with sea of humanity. Thousands of people participated in dharnas, protest rallies, motorcycle rallies and car rallies in different parts of the country in support of the 74-year-old anti-corruption crusader. Protests were going in different parts of India and in this movement a positive thing is that protests were going with peacefully in whole India.

27 August At Ramleela Maidan

Anna at Ramlila Maidan

on 27 august i decided to go to the Ramlila Maidan to support Anna's movement. Tens of thousands had also gathered at the Ramlila maidan to fight against the corruption. All supporters were giving their support in favour of Jan Lokpal Bill but they were also worrying for Anna's health. Worry could be seen on every face, of course it was 12 Th day of fasting of Anna Hazare. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan met Anna Hazare at Ramlila Maidan also.
Bharatiya Janata Party MP Sushma Swaraj, during the debate in Lok Sabha, expressed her party's support for Anna Hazare, and said the BJP largely agrees with the three pre-conditions(Citizen's Charter, Lokayuktas in all states with Lokpal powers and inclusion of lowest to highest bureaucracy) laid down by Anna to end his hunger strike and was willing to vote in favour it. Both the houses had passed the resolution agreeing upon all the three conditions set by Anna in Jan Lokpal Bill.
After that Anna declared of breaking fast on Sunday 28 august morning at 10 am as he avoids to do any holy work during Sun-set. In next morning Anna ended his fast after 288 hours before thousands of cheering supporters at Ramlila Maidan. It was a memorable moment for every person who was supporting Anna. A victory march took out at India Gate. Currently, Anna is in Medanta Hospital which is located in Gudgaon. Dr. Naresh Trehan told that Anna is now recovering and will be discharge in 1 or 2 days. I wish him a very healthy and long life from the behalf of whole India.

My Own Raindrop

I sit on the window, gaze rolling sky

whenever its rain i take a sigh….

I feel something like pain in heart

and it makes me little cry….

I want to hold these raindrops

which falls on the roads…..

I can feel its music

when it touches and makes little pound….

beyond and above

I wish a cloud…..

without boundaries, and bond

With my own raindrops…..

touching inside my soul

want to hold these raindrops

Falling in my dreams….

whenever its rain i take a sigh

and open teary-eyed…

tear falls on my palm

And its like a star…

want to hold these teardrop

present inside in my heart

it touches my soul

and i know its my own….
